Step-by-step preparation
- 1
Wash your hands and use a clean container and utensils. Check the expiry date and the instructions on the package.
- 2
Measure the indicated amount of water. Use the water type and temperature specified on the product package.
- 3
Measure the prescribed powder using level, unpacked scoops from the tin. Add it to the water and stir until evenly mixed.
- 4
If your team has approved a flavoring compatible with your diet phase, add it once the powder is dissolved.
- 5
Follow the preparation and temperature instructions on the package. Do not change the scoops, water or number of feeds yourself.
Storage
Prefer preparing each feed just before consumption. After opening the powder tin, close it tightly and follow its storage conditions and use-by period. To store a prepared mixture, follow the times and temperatures on the specific package, checked by your team. There is no universal time limit, and freezing suitability must not be assumed. If you do not know how long or under what conditions it has been stored, do not use it and consult your team.
How to Take It
Take chilled or at room temperature, in small slow sips. Avoid using a straw (it may increase air intake and cause bloating). If intolerance occurs (nausea, bloating), contact the nutrition team to consider adjusting the concentration or administration schedule.
This calculator release does not attach menus or validate a diet. Foods, quantities, texture and follow-up must be specified by the clinical team in a separate plan.
